US military confirms Reynoldsburg man among the 8 lost in Osprey crash in Japan

WASHINGTON — Air Force Special Operations Command said Tuesday it has identified the eight service members lost when their Osprey crashed off the coast of Japan last week.

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Brian K. Johnson, 32, of Reynoldsburg, was among those on the aircraft, according to the military. He was a flight engineer assigned to the 21st Special Operations Squadron, 353rd Special Operations Wing, Yokota Air Base, Japan.
