YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A day of music, food, drinks and vendors — that’s what people can expect at this year’s Federal Frenzy.

It is an event that draws a large number of people to downtown Youngstown each spring.

Youngstown State University’s “Penguin Productions” organizes the event. It will take place on East Federal Street with Penguin City Brewery and the Youngstown Flea. This year, there will be 45 vendors, over 10 food trucks and a diverse musical lineup.

“I think it’s just so important to celebrate the Youngstown community. Of our 26 musical acts, 25 of them are from the Youngstown area or northeast Ohio region in general,” said Jordan Record, of Penguin Productions.
